This holiday season, take a time out to just chill, and feel at home with us at the…

89 Hudson Ave.  Green Island

It’s that time when, we long for that, “Home for the Holidays” notion,
But often, life’s storms, feel like  we’re  adrift in the  ocean.
The Good Shepherd is the  refuge I find comfort and hope.
Just sitting in our church can lift spirits and help cope.

The folks at Good Shepherd work hard to keep this place
A site for everyone to experience needed sacred space
Our celebrations help us feel better about the journey of life
They give us purpose and energy to deal with the strife.

On Sunday, 12/2,  we taste peace in communion, and breaking of bread.
On Sun,12/9,  our Live Nativity leads to sweet dreams when we go to bed!
Sunday 12/16  is for laughs and love as we  have church with our pets
Christmas Eve  songs and candles is where  God can be met.

So take a look at our list of the soul-filling  things you can do
If by “coming home” to our church is a feeling you want too.
My church family is so giving, the “salt of the earth”
Connect and pray with us, as we wonder upon a heaven-child’s birth.

Christmas peace and blessings,
Ken Scott, worship celebrant,
